About

Through promoting inclusivity, the Hall supports the community to engage, connect and grow. Catering to the diverse needs of the Mooloolah Valley community, we ensure that the Hall remains a cherished asset that enriches the lives of those it serves.

A beautiful local and valuable community member Julie shared this Mooloolah school photo. The Hall is in the background as the school was the now community centre in 1971. Julie mentioned “It was a wonderful time growing up in Mooloolah back then. Just a few families in town. We kids used to ride our bikes everywhere and roamed the creeks and paddocks. Some of my earliest memories are of the dances in the Hall and our school functions there.” It’s such a blessing to be part of a community that is rich with memories and experiences.

Mooloolah Hall has a rich history, this very early photo of the Hall captures the times in the nineteen-hundreds when community would gather for dancing and catchups. Now the Hall continues to flourish in the year 2025, with many facelifts and working bees she remains a valuable hub for community workshops, events and private celebrations and gatherings and offers access for all needs whether walking or with wheels.

Mooloolah Hall may be the perfect fit for your next special occasion or a space that you would like to come meet others and join our current weekly community events. Whatever your needs whether it be hosting or participating in a cooking class, art class, wedding, funeral service, birthday party or music festival we are looking forward to hearing from you.

We acknowledge the Kabi Kabi and Jinibara people, Traditional Custodians of Country and their continual connection to land, sea and community. We pay our respects to their culture, and to elders past, present and future.
